Which size should I choose?
Measure your dog from nose to tail while fully stretched out. The M (63 × 47cm) suits small to medium breeds up to around 15kg. The L (100 × 75cm) is ideal for medium to large breeds including Spaniels, Labradoodles, and Staffies. The XL (120 × 90cm) suits large breeds like Labradors, Golden Retrievers, and German Shepherds. When in doubt, size up — more room means a more comfortable sleep.
Will the filling stay lofted over time?
Yes. PP cotton has significantly higher resilience than standard polyester fibrefill — it springs back to full loft after each use rather than compressing permanently. With normal daily use it maintains its depth and support for years. If you want to restore loft between washes, a gentle fluff by hand redistributes the filling in seconds.
My dog chews their bed. Will this survive?
The hidden zip is the key difference. Most beds fail because the zip is the first thing a bored dog finds and destroys. By tucking it away where curious noses can't reach it, the Pillow Bed removes the most common entry point for destructive chewing. The Terylene fabric is also significantly tougher than standard fleece. No bed is indestructible, but this one is built to outlast the alternatives.
Is it suitable for senior dogs?
Yes — particularly the L and XL sizes. The 20 to 25cm thick base eliminates floor pressure on arthritic joints, and the integrated pillow keeps the neck and spine aligned during the long rest periods senior dogs need. How do I wash it?
Unzip and remove the full outer cover. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle — no bleach, no fabric softener. Tumble dry on low or air dry flat. For the M size a standard home washing machine works fine. For L and XL we recommend a commercial machine at a launderette for a thorough clean. Reassemble once fully dry.
What if my dog doesn't take to it?
Place it where your dog already likes to rest and let them come to it naturally — don't force it. Add a worn item of your clothing for familiar scent to help them claim it faster.
